A blog related to original AI artworks. I make AI artworks using coined words and emoji as prompts.

I want AI to draw more abstract images than photorealistic images -- use emoji πŸ–Ό for that

It seems that there are many people who try to draw realistic women with AI art. It's something that appears in games. However, it doesn't work very well. The face can be drawn relatively well, but the fingers seem to be difficult. Therefore, I think that I get more out of abstract paintings than real paintings.

AI can create both painting-like and photographic-like images, but I think it is better to let AI draw what it is good at, so I want to make it as painting-like as possible. I wondered how I could always create painting-like images, so I tried the following methods.

One way is to add “by”. For example, using the “Dali” prompt often gives a photo-like image of Dali performing. One way to make it look like a Dali painting is to use the “by Dali” prompt.

“Dali” alone will often produce the following image.

Adding “by” to this usually draws a picture.

“by” often doesn't turn out to be a picture, so you can think of adding more direct words like “painting” or “paint”. However, when the word “paint” is included, it tends to paint a bright color. So I thought about putting the characters “πŸ–Ό” (painting) in the prompt. With Stable Diffusion 1.5 this usually works.

It's not working for Stable Diffusion 2.1, so I've already mentioned that I'm trying to do something different. I wrote in “If you give the same words to the positive and negative prompts...”.
