What is DASYN? (May 12, 2007)

DASYN was established to develop and to distribute general-purpose program product using Web interface technologies and internet communication technologies. It is currently a virtual company and not a organized company such as a joint-stock corporation. It has currently no relationships to other companies. There is only one member now. DASYN will be a joint-stock company or an LLC in future.

Meaning of DASYN (May 2, 2007)

DASYN is a coined word that came from "Digital Analog SYNergy" (or SYNthesis). Because human senses are analog, we think that better computer technologies will come from fusions of digital and analog technologies. We once thought of using the word "fusion" instead of "SYNergy". However, we could not find a better word for a company name and/or domain name using "fusion"; for example, "fusionware.com" and "fusionware.net" were occupied. So we decided to use DASYN.

Business plan (May 2, 2007)

DASYN currently does not have a definite business plan. However, it will develop programs on human communication and collaboration, and distribute add-in (or plug-in) softwares on mails and other collaborations by downloading from the web.

Policies of DASYN (May 2, 2007)

DASYN will try to use methods open to public. It will publish its newly developed technology at societies and open-software-centered development. Main development results will be quickly published on this site.

Vision of DASYN (May 2, 2007)

DASYN was established to help change styles of mediated human communication. We will try to change email first because, currently, email is the primary medium for business communication. However, we would like to change other media including mediated voice communication, i.e., telephone, too. The detailed vision will be explained in near future.
